Over the years our team has worked alongside nonprofit organizations, event organizers, and community partners throughout Savannah to help support the celebration. We have provided luxury portable restroom trailers for gatherings along River Street, throughout the historic district, and at events connected to the parade.
When hundreds of thousands of people come together in one place, logistics matter. Comfort matters. And creating a positive experience for visitors becomes an important part of keeping traditions strong.

Parade Memories and a Tradition of Celebration
Some of our favorite memories from St. Patrick’s Day actually come from the early years when our team participated directly in the parade.
Back then our involvement was simple and full of humor. We would dress up, join the parade route, and pull one of our restroom trailers behind us as we marched through the city.
Savannah is a city that appreciates creativity and a good sense of humor, so before long our participation became a little more elaborate.
Costumes grew more theatrical. Decorations became more creative. Our team began appearing as kings, queens, and knights marching proudly through the parade.
And no Royal Restrooms appearance would have been complete without our signature toilet plunger scepters.
Over time the costumes and playful spirit became something parade crowds began recognizing each year. For more than 15 parades, our team proudly marched through downtown Savannah celebrating alongside the community and enjoying every moment of the experience.
Supporting the Celebration Behind the Scenes
This year, due to unforeseen circumstances, Royal Restrooms will not be marching in the parade.
While stepping away from the parade route feels unusual after so many years of participation, our support for the celebration remains just as strong.
Our team will continue working behind the scenes to help support the many events happening throughout Savannah during the St. Patrick’s Day festivities. From gatherings along the waterfront to events throughout the historic district, we remain proud to help contribute to the experience that so many people travel to Georgia to enjoy.
Sometimes the most important roles at major events are the ones that happen quietly in the background.
And that has always been perfectly fine with us.
Looking Ahead to the Return of a Parade Tradition
St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah is built on traditions that have been passed down for generations.
Next year we hope to return to the parade route once again, bringing back the costumes, decorations, and the lighthearted spirit that made our participation so memorable.
The kings and queens will return.
The knights will march again.
And yes, the plunger scepters will be raised proudly once more.
